NOTICE:

In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.


HINT:

Using the GTS to read the Data List allows values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.


a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


c.

Turn the GTS on.


d.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

STOP: No connection

When there is a malfunction, a DTC is stored.

w/o Jam protection Function:

"STOP" is always displayed as there is no connection to the LIN communication system.


Communication Slide Roof Connection status between sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) OK or STOP OK: Connection
STOP: No connection

w/ Sliding Roof System:

When there is a malfunction, a DTC is stored.

w/o Sliding Roof System:

"STOP" is always displayed as there is no connection to the LIN communication system.


Communication Double Locking Connection status between double lock door control relay and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) OK or STOP OK: Connection
STOP: No connection

w/ Double Locking System:

When there is a malfunction, a DTC is stored.

w/o Double Locking System:

"STOP" is always displayed as there is no connection to the LIN communication system.
